Privacy Policy

This explains what Reswap collects when you use it, why, who else can see it, and how long it is kept.

01The short version

Reswap has no accounts, passwords or email sign-up. Your wallet address is your identity, and wallet addresses and the activity on them are public on the blockchain. We collect only what the site needs to work, and we do not sell personal data.

02What we collect

Your wallet address, when you connect it. It is public already.

Signed messages. When you agree to the terms or lock in your X handle, your wallet signs a message and we keep the record of that action: which wallet, which action, when. Signing costs no gas and moves no funds.

Your profile. Your X handle, the terms version you agreed to and when, and your onchain card.

Your X account, if you connect it. When you enter your X handle we link it to your wallet. We keep that handle. We do not receive your email, your posts or your followers, and we never post for you. Linking is one account per wallet.

Your swaps and bridges. For each order that settles through Reswap we keep Relay's order id, your wallet, the networks and tokens, the amounts, their USD value, the fee you paid and the transaction hashes. We read these back from Relay and from the chain.

Technical data. Like any web service, our servers see your IP address and browser details when you load the site. We use the IP address to limit abuse (for example, how many requests one address can make) and to run the service.

03How we use it

To run Reswap: get you quotes, show your orders and beta task progress, keep the site secure, and fix problems. We do not use it for advertising, and we do not build profiles of you for other companies.

04Who else sees it

The public. Your wallet address is visible to anyone, because that is how a public blockchain works.

Relay. To quote and fill an order, your wallet address, the tokens, the amount and the networks are sent to Relay (relay.link), which has its own privacy policy.

Service providers that host and run the site: cloud hosting, a database, and blockchain RPC providers that your requests pass through. They process data for us, and for no other purpose.

Your wallet and X. Your wallet provider sees what you sign. X sees that you signed in to Reswap, and links to X open x.com, which has its own privacy policy.

05Cookies and local storage

We do not use advertising or tracking cookies. Your browser keeps a few things locally to make the site work, such as your theme choice, which wallet you last connected, and an order that is still settling so we can resume tracking it. You can clear them in your browser settings.

06How long we keep it

Chain data is public and permanent. Profile and order records are kept while the programme runs. Technical logs are kept for a short period for security and debugging.

07Your choices

You can stop at any time by disconnecting your wallet. You can ask us to correct or delete the off-chain records tied to your wallet (profile, X handle, onchain card) by writing to us on X; we will do what the law requires. Records of orders that settled on-chain cannot be removed from the chain.

Depending on where you live you may have further rights, such as access to your data or to object to its use. Ask us and we will tell you what we hold.

08Children

Reswap is not for children, and we do not knowingly collect data from anyone who is too young to use it under the law that applies to them.

09Changes and contact

If this policy changes in a way that matters, the date at the top changes and, where it affects what you agreed to, your wallet is asked to agree again. See also the Terms of Use.

Questions or requests can be sent through our official account on X, @ReswapHQ. We will never ask for a private key or seed phrase.
